Tandy McConnell received his PhD in History from the University of South Carolina in 1998 and served as Charles Ezra Daniel Professor of History at Columbia College until 2017. He is currently teaching Advanced Placement Human Geography, Advanced Placement Psychology, Economics, and Current Events at Ridge View High School in South Carolina.
